INTEGRATED SILICA INDUSTRY
SILICA REFINERY
High-quality silica sand for solar panels, requires superior purity and a silica content exceeding 99.5%, to ensure optimal light transmission. Consistency in low impurity levels, controlled particle size, and chemical inertness, which contribute to efficient solar energy conversion, enhancing the performance and longevity of photovoltaic systems, can only be obtained through a very strict industrial process. Having acquired a large mining concession, ADR plans to build and operate an Integrated Silica Refinery facility to supply for the growing PV Glass industry locally, as well as being the internal supplier for the downstream PV Glass factory in the integrated ecosystem.
ADR PV Glass-grade Silica Sand contributes a substantial amount towards the Domestic Component Level in the PV Glass industry. The Domestic Component Level (TKDN) and its minimum requirement as stipulated by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and the Ministry of Industry is an important aspect in terms of the domestic supply chain.
As part of the integrated ecosystem, the facility enjoys cheap green source of energy. ADCORP is also committed to sustainability, utilizing eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient production methods to minimize environmental impact.
